Return, Cancellation & Exchange Policy – Maleta

Returns & Cancellations Process
1. Requesting a Return
- Customers must contact Maleta within 7 days of receiving the order.
- Images or videos of the product must be shared at the time of request.
2. Return Approval
- All return requests are reviewed within 24 hours.
- Customers will be informed whether the return has been approved.
- Requests made after the 7-day return window will not be accepted.
3. Product Pickup
- Once approved, Maleta will arrange a reverse pickup from the customer’s location.
- Customers must ensure the product is properly packed and ready for pickup.
- Reverse pickup may take up to 15 working days, depending on service availability in the customer’s PIN code.
4. Product Inspection & Refund
- Products are inspected within 7 working days after pickup.
- If approved, the refund will be initiated to the original payment method.
5. Conditions for Returns
- Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with all tags intact.
- Products that have been altered or repaired by third parties are not eligible for return.
- Missing packaging or boxes will result in a deduction of INR 500 per item from the refund amount.
6.Exchange / Replacement Policy (Size or Colour)
- Exchanges are allowed for size or colour, subject to product availability.
- Due to the high reverse logistics and delivery costs associated with volumetric products like trolley bags, an additional exchange charge of up to INR 600 may apply.
- The exact exchange charge will depend on the size and model being exchanged and will be communicated to the customer at the time of approval.
- Exchange requests will be processed only after payment of applicable charges, if any.
Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Before Shipping
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.
- Prepaid orders will receive a full refund.
2. Cancellation After Shipping
- Orders cancelled after dispatch will incur a deduction of INR 500.
- Refunds will be processed only after the product is received back at our warehouse.
Refund Process
- Refunds are initiated only after the returned product is received and inspected.
- Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
Prepaid Orders
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
- Refunds are transferred to the customer’s bank account.
- Bank details must be shared via email or WhatsApp.
Return Attempt Policy
- After approval, two pickup attempts will be made.
- If the pickup is unsuccessful due to customer unavailability, the return request will be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
